WHAT
WE DO
Pip Redvers is
the full-time coach at the Total Body Pilot School of Freeflying
which has been in operation since 1996 and is based year-round at
Skydive City, Zephyrhills, Florida. Pip is available for
personal coaching for freeflying or flat fly RW skills.

My skydiving career has always been focused on
teaching and over the years I have coached many disciplines of
skydiving at different levels of experience from first jumps to
training skydivers to become coaches and teachers
themselves. Since 1996 I have concentrated on coaching
freefly skills but also coach flat flying RW skills and can
prepare people for the AFF
Certification Course.
FREEFLY COACHING
There is no set of rules for how you learn to
freefly and I will help each individual through the
basics of sit-flying, head-up and head-down flying at their own
pace with the full benefit of video debriefing. I can teach
complete beginners or if you already have the basics down, then
you can improve and enhance your freefly skills with coaching. I
offer both one-on-one and two-on-one coaching (depending on your
skill level) and have had a lot of success recently in helping British
students to achieve their BPA FF1 and FF2 qualifications. I
also organize for more advanced freeflyers when not busy coaching
- this is free of charge.

To participate
in freefly coach jumps you need an 'A' license (or equivalent) and
a 'freefly friendly' rig. This means one that has pin flaps
and riser covers which stay closed, a good condition BOC or
pull-out deployment system and an audible altimeter is highly
recommended.
FLAT FLY FS COACHING
I have a program of jumps which will take a
novice through the basic skills of RW jumping which include
different exits, controlled turns, taking and presenting grips
and changing fall rates. These jumps are a good transition
from student jumping to RW groups and cover the requirements of
the British FS1 qualification.
